Feb/March/April 2008 - Hold those Horses!!

Well, I would award myself with a title if I could. Probably Mermaid or goddess; but more deserved would be procrastinator, or worst blogger ever!! Time flies and I enjoy reading others' blogs, but rarely get on here to update what's going on with us.
February - WELCOME BABY CONNER!! Niece Tabitha and husband Chris had a baby boy! Pictures coming soon...Happy Valentine's Day! Camping with our great RV friends at San Antonio Lake (the SAL Rally) Feb. 15-16-17. Our last one with dear friends Lee and Shelia Brandt and sweet Brianna - who will be moving to Tennessee in April. We also got to go to San Onofre Beach Club on Camp Pendleton as guests of Sam Floyd and lots of the Fine-Feathered Friends group was there to share the weekend. What a great campground and you have to be retired Service personnel or DOD to go there - or a guest of a retiree. Wheee! Ocean just outside our door as well as more great RVg friends.
March - Happy Birthdays for DD-i-L Jenny, DD Wendy, and Sweetheart Bill. We actually celebrated Bill's 60th (yep!) at San Clemente State Beach while camping in the RV. Friends he went through school with (one all the way, K-12) joined us and we roasted wienies and enjoyed walking down memory lane. It was really special to have Brad and Merry Oyama with us, as well as our daughters, SIL Andrew, Rosslyn and Stewart, and my brother Jeff and wife Barbara, and Terry and Aleta Reeser.
April - We attended the 5th Annual RV.Net Rally at Canyon RV in Anaheim (previously held at San Dimas). We took our grandchildren, Rosslyn and Stewart with us. They had a fabulous time, as did we! Celebrated DS Matthew's birthday on Sunday, too. And we are only into the month for one week. What else is in store for us? We'll see. Our Brandt friends will be packing their trailer and leaving next week. We wish them all the best as they begin this new chapter in their lives. We will get penciled into one of the chapters later in their story, because Tennessee will be on our list as we head into the sunset (hopefully in 2 years or so).

Well, that's a quick and abbreviated update.

Jill thanks for the comment on our Blog. As time gets closer and closer it gets even harder to think about what we are doing. I know it is the right thing to do at this point in our life but it sure is hard to do... Shelia and I love both of you very much and feel we have made really really friends in you both..

Hugs and Big 'Ol' Kisses Lee and Shelia
