On April 19 I joined friends (zany/fun-loving ones!) at Legoland and walked to raise funds for Multiple Sclerosis. Bill drove down with me and decided he may as well walk (Kathy's husband, Chuck, did the same). We had a great time and our team raised almost $6,000 to help provide services and the search for a cure. Thank you Linda Ward for inviting me. We were the Best Rookie Team. Woo-hoo!
WENDY MOVES OUT of HER CONDO
May 2, our Friday off, found us in San Diego helping Wendy move her things to a storage unit. She has a study-abroad program planned over the summer and as I write this, she is already in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil with two friends who will also be in the program in Santiago, Chile. After 5 weeks of classes she will have a 5 week internship, and then travel to Machu Pichu (Peru) before returning home.
ANNUAL RIVERFLOAT ANNOUNCED
Our annual family fun-filled weekend riverfloat (Owens River, Bishop, California) will be held on July 5 this year. We will enjoy time in Bishop from Wednesday through Sunday then travel to northern California for a cousin-reunion. Yipee!
